Yes, this account is basically dead. (YOU WOULDN'T'VE GUESSED THOUGH, RIGHT?)

Yeah, I don't do art anymore, if you've actually took note of these journals.

I'll always be proud of the art I used to do, but I have no scanner or card reader, so I can't upload art even if I want to.

But I'm still an artist. But it's audio art. By which I mean music. This will probably be my last journal post on here unless I have some sort of reawakening of visual artistic inspiration and start uploading again. So I'm going to link to my 'art' pages:

The Prophets of Impending Doom (ska band)

Silent Duck (funk rock band)

Funk Latin Union (funk/latin band)

Boneseed (reggae band)

And my own solo amateur electronica!
soundcloud.com/clarrie-duncan

I'll still sometimes come on here to look at other's people art (and maaan, some of you have improved so much since I regularly visited this site) and respond to comments, but submission-wise, this account is dead.

Cheers for the love, guys.

Fuuuuuck this account is OLD.
OLD OLD OLD

I don't really know if I should come back - it'd encourage me to get back into drawing (I've basically stopped doing so, I've just been writing and playing music instead), but a lack of an accessible scanner makes it rather difficult and time-consuming to do any sort of drawing and upload it to dA.

I might delete some of the more embarrassing entries and leave this here as a monument to my teenager self's creativity. My twenties self's creativity can be followed on Facebook HERE www.facebook.com/Prophets.Of.I…
and you can buy the creativity HERE prophetsofimpendingdoom1.bandc…

Yep. The Prophets of Impending Doom released an EP and at THIS VERY MOMENT we're recording a second one which features moar cowbell (with a dedicated cowbell player) and two new members (one of which is the cowbellist)

We also have a gig this Friday and stuff.

I dunno. I ask the question. Should I try to get back into this shindig? I can't promise to be diligent in submitting regularly, but I dunno. You decide this for me, guys.

I don't know how to operate this journal widget anymore cause they seemed to changed it a heap since I was on here.

I said I was coming back on here regularly. Well, that was a lie, seeing as I looked here out of curiosity the other night and found stuff about Amelia still on here 0___0
TIME TO FILL IN
I've completed a second year of Year 12 at Marden, and I got into the University of Adelaide studying Bachelor of Arts/Teaching, majoring in English (currently doing Shakespeare. Gods above!)
:iconluna-maiden: Tis my girlfriend! we've going out for over a year now :3
Don't ask about Amelia. She left me for some douche. Karma, however, struck out, and the douche left her for a friends of hers. Bam.

Btw I've submitted some bits and pieces. YEAH

As I mentioned in my last journal over half a year ago (why did I miss the stuff about Amelia then?) All previously mentioned bands were dead and gone. Not that any of them ever really did anything...
However, the new band I created, The Prophets of Impending Doom has been quite successful. We've had three gigs and recorded three songs. Wanna record an EP soon to launch once our reputation has spread.
We've been through three guitarists already, though, two were twats, and another was really awesome but he left to focus on his other band, sadly. We had Mr Xavier from Sydney band General Pants & The Privates fill in guitar at out last gig and Mr Sanderson of the same fill in for our cowbell player who was sadly absent, but we still need a new guitarists now.

BUT WAIT, you say, why are two Sydneysiders filling in for an Adelaidean band? How did they come by each other, anyway?
Well, I discovered the band General Pants and the Privates on Newgrounds before our first gig and they turned out to be really cool people, and before we'd even played our first gig, they asked if we could travel to Sydney for their EP launch. Which was October 8th.
And so we did. We drove the 1300km to Sydney and had the most amazing week ever with General Pants and all the Privates and a handful of other pretty cool people. At the actual gig - fuuuuck. It was amazing. For the first time, people were skanking to us and the crowd received us well. Then I had a second pint of Guinness and proceeded to skank until I was utterly soaked in my own sweat (ew). The Privates then had Chris and I come back on to play additional horns in their last song. Then we set off for home incredibly happy with ourselves.
And that was our third gig! The future looks bright for PoID. Well, once we get a guitar player. Trying out someone this weekend or so. We may be doing some horns for another Adelaide band as well, which should be awesome.

I guess that's really all of it. My journals are no longer the huge, monolithic and somewhat humourous piles of text they used to be.

Do check out the small offering of new picture-things, and do look up the Prophets of Impending Doom on Facebook as well, we'd  really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, totally forgot, we did a split EP with General Pants and the Privates. Somewhere on our page there's a link to it. It's free, but donations are much appreciated, yo.

My art style has evolved. My music has evolved. I hve evolved. I think I'm back now.

With a few key differences:
Every bad mentioned on this profile, on any deviation, is now dead, well, any that I say I'm in.
That's
Chasing Parked Cars
F.O.L.K.
Tangy Mangoes

ALL DEFUNCT. ALL GONE.
Falling out of contact with people, not liking people anymore, transition to another high school for Year 13 then getting into uni, this is all influencing on this.
But now there is a new band, Prophets Of Impending Doom, and finally, we really ARE doing stuff. Rehearsals are a regular feature of my Monday evenings from now on.

I've started doing some drawing again, you may see me back on here regularly.
:D PREPARE YOUR BUMS.

I' love to say I've been busy but I really haven't.
Does any hate this stack system. I want it to go die. Go die, Stack system.
If anyone is able to stab it in the face for me, or better yet, GET RID OF IT, I would be much appreciative. I liked the old way.
Let's stop improving this site. The new addition just serve to annoy me. Keep it at godddamn art. No more fucking llama badges or whatever the fuck it is. NO ONE SEND ME ANY EITHER.
Good lord, what am I even doing?
Don't touch that sauce, Bill.
